Defrag

Quake modification in here.

Defrag

Postby Zion » 11 Mar 2010, 10:45

I use to play defrag about 2 to 3 years ago. Thats all i Played really. Only been playing quake online for the past week So my skill with duels, online play etc is not exactly great.

Was just wanting to see who all plays defrag.

Maybe get a little friendly competition going. See who can get the best time on a certain map. Say coldrun or any other.

Nice site btw

Ah i remember defrag
It was a q3 trick jumping mod, you just try to get from one end of the map to the other end as fast as possible

Trick Jumping, Map runs, double rocket jump, Triple rocket jumps, Plasma wall climb, Even exploiting the OpenGL bugs like overbounce etc. Not sure what all the names are. But defrag basicly gives you maps etc to practice and do all these with. You also have CPM and Standard VQ3 Physics modes etc.

Coldrun is a nice map for beginners. Although you have to know how to strafe jump decently

All the GDFCOMP and DFCOMP maps are quite decent
