Speaking of clocks, is there a way to have cg_drawitempickup (or w/e it is) to display multiple items for longer? ive seen some huds that have actual timers for items. Idk, ill post my TDM config in a bit

@Peekay: r_picmip 10; vid_restart

@Gobz: it does indeed. 1) its very legible and 2) every time i notice it its like a reminder to time items

@noble: i also want that in my config, but i had looked and cant find any settings relating to the picked up items. cant even move or change the size of it :(

Hey p00n cool HUD
I tried the same thing back in Q3 with the lines leading to the xhair. I found the vertical line below the xhair cool for grenade aiming. Other than that it was just a cool feeling having them :lol: , you never get those situations with using a small xhair where the xhair magically dissapears for a split second in your vision.

yeah the vertical lines help with nades.

i also find that the horizontal lines help with LG and they are helpful when im aiming up at a ledge.

overall its like a graph and it feels like it helps for rail to more easily identify the x and y distance to the enemy.

this could all be speculation, but i like my crosshair :P

yo Peekay (and anyone else). This is a good site that explains most of the vars and stuff in the HUD cfg.

http://quakelivehud.blogspot.com/

On the right you will see links for cvars, borders, colors etc etc.

also: http://qlhud.core.ws/ for custom HUDS
