No there's definitely something they screwed up in this update. QL Offline needs an update now but the link where you could download it from has broken. I guess that means the creator at least knows about the problem.

This is all true, however, if you have an old backup of the QL directory you can swap it with the current one and still use the old QL offline exe. Works for me :P

If you guys dont have a backup, do some homework and find out which dll's or w/e were changed and ill upload the old ones.

I'd presume so. This might do the trick...

there wont be an update. ID threatened the programmer with a law suite, so that's it folks. keep the old files if you can, cause you wont find it again. the site to download the patch from is also down.

Damnit, I didn't get a chance to download the rest of the source code to use in my own version! (Whoops, did I say that out aloud? ;) )

BTW there are *cough* rumours that if you were, to say, replace cgamex86.dll, qagamex86.dll, quakelive.dll in your home/baseq3/ folder and pak08.pk3 and bin.pk3 in your baseq3 folder, all with the ones found in the 9th March update found on a certain website by a person with a bakery-related nick name, Quake Live Offline might just work again. But then again, that might just be a rumour! ;)
